West Branch Community School’s FIRST Lego League and Team 5041 are asking for your help in supporting the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
We are looking for donations of new and unopened Lego sets or monetary donations to be put towards the purchase of Lego sets. All sets will then be donated to help restock the Children’s Hospital gift closets and playrooms.
While large sets are fun, the best sets to donate are small sets from $10 – $40 dollars and themed or unthemed Lego sets are equally great. In lieu of Lego sets we also happily accept monetary donations, which will be put into a special fund and used only for the purchase of Lego sets or other wanted toys to be donated. Any amount helps, but if you donate $10 or more it can guarantee the purchase of at least one additional set.
Sets can be given to a WBCSD FIRST Team member or brought to the Middle School or High School offices. We will be accepting set donations until Sept. 26th. Please contact Angie Klinkhammer at the central office if you would like to make a monetary donation. Please specify that it is for the Children’s Hospital Lego Set Drive and not the robotics team. All sets will then be donated to the Children’s Hospital by Oct. 3rd. Thank you for your support!
